Forum not using S3 after import

I just migrated from IPS 4.x which we utilized s3 for our attachments. It looks like none of that was imported over to fit the new structure needed for Xenforo. Does this mean I have to lose all my attachments? I installed the addon

but the instructions look like it needs things in the internal_data and data folder.
